Roush Ford Mustang Stage 3 Premier Edition

Roush Performance, in collaboration with David Ragan (Roush Fenway Racing driver of the team) made the Ford Mustang Stage 3 Premier Edition, a presentation was done at this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
In addition to Roush aero body package, this Mustang is among other things, got enhanced 5.0-liter V8 engine (now 540 horses) with R2300 Roush supercharger, modified suspension, Roush Performance exhaust system, a new set of wheels, doterani interior and new exterior color.

Awesome Lamborghini Aventador from Oakley Designs

Rear wheel drive, more power and lighter. In the short term, tuner Oakley Oakley Design Limited Design with a LP760-2. This model is based on the new Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador. The first designs made promise much good! Following the success of the Oakley Design Italia Ferrari 458, the tuner so calmly to address alien species. LP760-2 this seems again a success. There are five copies made of this limited edition. Of course only the most wealthy can afford tho buy a modified Lamborghini Avetador! There are copies to Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the United States.

The car gets a number of modifications which remove the AWD system is the most radical. Oakley Design will only continue. A new rim slightly wider which developed in the Corsa mode will be more grip. With Intrax, new parts for the chassis developed which will provide better performance and a decrease in weight of 85 kilos. The car will be another 30 pounds lighter with a new titanium intake and exhaust. Combined with a remap of the ECU gets 60 additional horsepower supercar the top of the 700 hp.

Optically, we can also expect some changes. The Aventador has a carbon fiber construction, plastic parts are still available on the bodywork. These will be replaced with carbon fiber components. A number of additional carbon fiber components give the vehicle while providing more downforce. When the car is ready is not indicated. Furthermore, all components are easily available separately, so those interested need not worry if this model is sold out.

The Audi A3 is a awesome little luxury rocket. The turbocharged engine pumps out 200 HP through Audi's legendary Quattro all wheel drive system. The only downside is the car retails for about $30,000 which can be quite pricey. Luckily you can get and Audi A3 lease for $440 per month with only $1800 down. That's pretty awesome.

The 2011 Audi A3 comes loaded with leather interior and plenty of features. There is a moon roof, wood trim, and top of the line radio. The hatchback design is very versatile and the 4 doors come in handy. Hey and the car gets 30 MPG on the highway too.

New 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan

Infiniti won't leave a good thing alone, yet it keeps making it better, so we can't complain. The G Sedan was redesigned for 2007, then it picked up a more powerful 3.7-liter V-6 and seven-speed automatic for 2009 (and a name change to G37). Now for 2010, the G37 Sedan already gets a mid-cycle refresh, with a new front and rear appearance, enhanced tech features and options, and a redesigned center console among many small changes.

Overall, the G37's rakish silhouette has remained untouched, and that's a good thing. With a coupelike roofline and a lean, low profile, the G37 flaunts a clean and nicely proportioned profile, with plenty of clean sheetmetal—eschewing the excessive body creases that are so common now. A new front fascia and new-design headlights are paired with a new rear fascia, but you'll have to look closely for the differences from the 2009 model. Most notably, the lower air dam in front gives the G a neater, more measured appearance, but it retains the nice contours around the headlights and grille. The stance remains tasteful yet aggressive and sporty. Inside, the G37 has the cockpit feel of a sports coupe in front, with narrow footwells, a rather low seating position, and a prominent center console—redesigned for 2010—that wraps back between occupants. Big, round dials are set directly in front of the driver, and a strong beltline wraps around to the door panels. A screen mounted top and center accesses audio and climate functions, while supplemental controls are just under the screen.

The 2010 G37 Sedan gets the same 328-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 featured in the G37 Coupe. It's mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual, with all-wheel drive available with the automatic.

The G37 Sedan is one of the most responsive, communicative, and fun-to-drive sport sedans in its class. Its 3.7-liter V-6 makes more muscle—328 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque—than some rival V-8s and provides enough thrust to satisfy most rabid performance enthusiasts, though it's a little more raucous than the former 3.5-liter and not nearly as smooth as BMW's excellent turbocharged six in the 335i. The seven-speed automatic transmission in the 2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan pulls off snappy and smooth shifts when accelerating hard, but it seems more at home when driving aggressively; shifts become lumpy and indecisive when light on the throttle. Solid-magnesium steering-wheel paddle shifters (included on G37 Journey and G37x AWD models) command a quick downshift, though, including a throttle blip. Those who like a manual transmission will find the six-speed very satisfying. Underneath there's a firm, sport-tuned four-wheel independent suspension, and power steering adjusts effort according to vehicle speed. The G37 Sedan is quite possibly the best-handling sport sedan, price no object, with great steering feel and near-perfect dynamics, for those who can take advantage of them on the track. Plus, fuel economy is respectable; with the automatic transmission, it now rates 18 mpg city, 26 highway, though TheCarConnection.com fails to meet those estimates.

Seating, cabin space, and ride comfort might be the weakest aspect of the whole 2010 G37 Sedan package. Even the standard seats in the 2010 G37 Sedan have good support, though some might find them a bit too narrow and snug. There's adequate legroom, though headroom is somewhat scarce. The backseat is hardly a place for adults to spend long periods of time—made worse by a shortage of legroom and oddly reclined seatbacks. The backseats don't fold all the way forward to increase trunk space, as they do in many other sedans, but there is a pass-through for skis and such, and trunk space is decent. The interior of the G37 seems sporty and premium yet not lavish—it has the feel of a high-end sports-car cabin more than a sedan, and it's put together tightly. For 2010, trims and finishes have been revamped, and the instrument panel now includes white gauges and a new aluminum trim. Overall, refinement and quiet aren't the reasons for getting a G37, though. The ride isn't downright jarring, but it's quite firm, and road noise is more prominent inside than it is in most other sport sedans.

The G37's quick handling will likely prove to be a safety asset, but there are plenty of other safety positives. Electronic stability control is standard, along with anti-lock brakes with Brake Assist, front side airbags, and side-curtain airbags that cover front and rear outboard occupants. Crash-test ratings for the G37 Sedan have been respectable, with four- and five-star results from the federal government. The IIHS gave the 2009 G37 Sedan top "good" scores for frontal and side impact but hadn't yet renewed them for the revised 2010 model at the time of posting. The only concern with the 2009 model was a "marginal" rating in the IIHS's seat-based rear-impact test.

Four different models of the G37 remain on offer: Base, Journey, Sport, and the G37x AWD. Base models have power driver and passenger power seats, in addition to a long list of popular features. The Journey model now gets more tech features, including a Bluetooth hands-free interface, a rearview monitor, and heated seats and mirrors, plus dual-zone climate control. From the Journey, you can add any number of tech options, including Adaptive Front Lighting and the Intelligent Cruise Control with a Preview Braking safety feature. Features newly added for 2010 include an audiophile Infiniti Studio on Wheels system by Bose, and there's an optional next-generation hard-drive-based navigation system with higher-resolution screen, Zagat restaurant ratings and reviews, XM Weather and XM NavTraffic, and live rerouting. Also available is a new Advanced Climate Control System (ACCS), which purifies inside air and automatically shuts off outside air when exhaust fumes are detected.

2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan Sport models also include a Viscous Limited Slip Differential, in addition to a host of track-worthy upgrades like larger vented disc brakes, sport steering gear, W-rated performance tires, and more aggressively bolstered sport seats with active head restraints and thigh extensions.

Car and Driver just reviewed the Track Pack and said it was outstanding. Beat the other two muscle cars in its class by far.

The 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid

Ok so the whole fuel economy thing has finally made its way into the last possible auto segment; the man’s vehicle group. Yes now even manly men are aware of their fuel economy and its impact on the environment. Well GMC is the first company to address this portion of our population. New for 2009 is the Yukon which weights almost a ton and yet can achieve that magical 20 MPG mark that SUV’s were never meant to obtain.

This remarkable feat was achieved by designing a 2-mode hybrid system. The Yukon has the ability to run on electric power alone up to 25 MPH which does wonders for the in town fuel economy. When more power is need the gas engine simply kicks in. And the Yukon also benefits from cylinder deactivation technology which essentially turns the V-8 power plant in to a more economical 4 cylinder when less power is needed. The New Infiniti G37 Luxury Car

Each year Car and Driver does a 10 of the Best Cars list. Cars are judged on three points, the first being performance and functionality, second emotional engagement, and finally pricing and versatility. All cars that are new or significantly redesigned are eligible for the 10Best. If a car consistently impresses year after year it is possible to remain on the list indefinitely, even without updates. As a second runner up to BMW, Infiniti has always been a great competitor for the top spot in entry-level luxury sports sedans and coupes, but has never ruled this class. Infiniti has been a winner for the 10 Best Cars in 2003, 2004, 2007, and now a 2009 winner for the G. The Infiniti new G37 has an improved 3.7L V6 engine with 328hp which is speculated to be the large facet in winning the title for ’09. The new engine has a reported increase off 22hp over its 3.5L predecessor. Not only was more muscle added to the G but other features underwent refinement like in the V6, and overall feel of the 6-speed manual transmission.

The Transformers Chevy Camaro Edition

GM announced a limited Chevy Camaro Bumblebee Edition from Transformers to be available on June 1st. The Camaro will feature the same yellow and black stripes that Bumblebee rocks in the movie as well as Transformer badges on wheel centers, door sill plates and embroidered on the console lid. The package will be offered on the Camaro LT and SS models. The production run is restricted so you better go out and order one today! Pricing has not been yet revealed, but you can bet these will one day become collector’s items.

The 2010 Prius – 50 MPG at Least!

The 2010 Toyota Prius is set to break the 50 MPG barrier that the American public has been salivating for. According to the EPA which is the governing body for all things MPG related, the 2007 Prius gets a combined 46 MPG which is the leader among all hybrid vehicles. Well Toyota is at the forefront of battery technology and the batteries on the horizon will be able to charge easier and last longer. This is where the PHEV or Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle will come into play. For the 2010 Prius you can get a PHEV model which will allow you to charge the batteries that power the electric motor at home. This will help the Prius to use the electric engine more often which will increase the fuel economy and lower emissions; a win/win situation for the public.

The New 2010 Cadillac SRX – Midsized Luxury

Cadillac is about the only U.S. automaker to actually learn from what their Japanese counterparts are doing. Mid-sized fuel efficient SUV’s are what the American Consumers are buying and the newly redesigned 2010 Cadillac SRX targets this potential market.

The current SRX is a large SUV with horrible gas mileage. Well new for 2010 the SRX will shrink, lose the 3rd row seat, and get a boost in fuel economy. Gone will be the staple V-8 engine replaced with a direct-injected V-6 and maybe even a 4 cylinder. The SRX will also become a front wheel drive based on the “theta premium” platform.

Now there is finally a Luxury mid-sized SUV, and Cadillac plans to target the Honda CRV!

Toyota’s Got Gas – Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)!

Honda has been the sole automaker with a reliable CNG car for way too long. On the heels of Honda announcing they will make twice as many natural gas cars as last year; Toyota has recently displayed the new CNG Camry hybrid at the Los Angeles Auto Show. What better place to show off the future of green cars than at the city that is the mecca for all things eco-friendly.
One of the World’s largest reserves of Natural Gas lies here in the U.S.! So why should be pay other countries for oil when we could use our own resources and tap into those large pockets of natural gas. I’ve been wondering this for years now and since Honda is doing so well, and there are home fueling kits for natural gas, this seems like the next logical step for the world’s most powerful auto maker.

The CNG Toyota Camry Hybrid will be based on the current gas-electric version, just instead of a gas engine this car will be powered by natural gas-electric motor. Horsepower will suffer a tiny bit and the average fuel economy will shrink from 34 MPG to 33 MPG, based on estimates. The range on this eco-friendly car will be over 250 miles. But when you consider that natural gas is cheaper than regular petrol…..this seems like a viable car!

The New 2009 Cadillac CTS-V – Kicking Butt and Taking Names!

Ever since I heard the new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V would have a version of the ZR1 Corvette engine I was hooked. I can just picture my Grandpa blowing the doors off of every BMW and Mercedes in sight. That would be hilarious! The new CTS-V is a serious automobile. It recently posted the fastest lap time at the Nurburgring in Germany, beating out any sedan that has ever run this course, including all Bimmer’s….that’s huge!

Most people either love or hate the styling. I have seen the new CTS cars motoring around and I must say they look sharp. But who cares about looks when you have over 550-hp and torque under your foot. This monster includes a six-speed transmission that will rocket Grandpa to 191-mph….which will either send him to jail or a not so early grave! Whichever the case this “luxury car” is a monster.

Besides the serious performance; the Cadillac CTS-V sports nice 19-inch alloy rims, 15-inch brakes, some kind of crazy electromagnetic suspension, and rare Recaro seats. Cadillac may be in financial trouble, but they sure did their homework with this car. And the best part about this missile is the price: $60k! That’s more than $25k less than its main rivals: the BMW M5 and the Mercedes E63 AMG. What more could you want?

The New 2010 Chevy Camaro - more goodies than the Ford Mustang!

After a long 7 year hiatus; the Camaro has returned better than ever! Over the last few years the newly redesigned “old school” Ford Mustang has been cleaning up in the Muscle Car arena. An eternity in car years has passed and Chevy is poised to strike down the mighty Mustang!

Not only will the base model (LS/LT) be cheaper; priced around $23k, but it will have more goodies than the Mustang GT. The rims are larger, the brakes are bigger, and the Camaro will sport a V-6 that will produce 300-hp; the same as a Mustang GT.

But the real fun begins when you decide to step up to the SS model. Oh yes the Super Sport of old has returned; this time with a V-8 producing 420 galloping horses at a very reasonable $30k price. The brakes will be 14-inch, the wheels even larger at 20-inch, and my favorite feature is the new gas saving trick. The new 2010 Chevy Camaro will feature cylinder deletion which will essentially turn the Camaro into a 4-cylinder in the name of fuel economy. But don’t worry, punch the gas pedal and this puppy will roar back to life!

The GM Volt – A Bit Late

GM has been pushing the idea of E-Flex Automobiles as of late with the Chevrolet Volt at the forefront of all this chatter. The E-Flex cars are hybrids but not in the normal sense. A hybrid car is one powered by 2 energy sources. Where the Volt differs is that it is plugged in to charge the lithium batteries. Gm has dubbed this car an Extended Range Vehicle. What this means is that the Volt can run up to 40 miles on batteries alone. After that a regular gas engine kicks in.

My question is why now? I mean yes this is good but the GM EV1 was around in the early 1990’s and they are just now slating the release of the Volt for 2011. It has taken way too long for GM to develop this technology. Maybe they should have released this car before their economic troubles. But this is the smart thinking that GM has not displayed in the last 20 years!
